Cancellation Policy

At eAlpha (“eAlpha,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), operated by Alpha Technology Pvt. Ltd., we aim to provide a smooth, transparent, and reliable shopping experience through our electronic multivendor marketplace. This Cancellation Policy explains the terms and conditions under which orders placed on eAlpha may be canceled by customers, vendors, or the platform.

1. Order Cancellation by Customer

Customers may request cancellation of an order under the following conditions:

  1. The order has not yet been shipped or dispatched by the vendor
  2. The cancellation request is made within the allowed time window before processing
  3. The product is not marked as “non-cancellable” or “final sale” by the vendor

Once an order has been shipped or handed over to the delivery partner, cancellation may no longer be possible, and the customer may need to follow the Return Policy instead.

2. Cancellation After Shipment

If an order has already been shipped:

  1. Cancellation requests will generally not be accepted
  2. Customers may refuse delivery (if applicable) and initiate a return process after receiving the product
  3. Any applicable shipping or handling charges may be deducted from refunds, depending on vendor policy

3. Order Cancellation by Vendor

A vendor may cancel an order under the following circumstances:

  1. Product is out of stock or unavailable
  2. Pricing or listing errors
  3. Payment issues or failed verification
  4. Customer information is incomplete or incorrect
  5. Fraudulent or suspicious order activity

In such cases, customers will be notified, and any payment made will be refunded according to the Refund Policy.

4. Cancellation by eAlpha

eAlpha reserves the right to cancel any order at its discretion in cases such as:

  1. Suspected fraud or unauthorized transactions
  2. Technical errors in pricing or product listings
  3. Violation of platform policies
  4. Legal or regulatory requirements
  5. Vendor non-compliance or inability to fulfill the order

Customers will be informed, and refunds will be processed where applicable.

5. Refunds for Canceled Orders

If a cancellation is approved before shipment:

  1. Full refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method
  2. Processing time may vary depending on the payment gateway, bank, or wallet provider
  3. Any applicable transaction fees (if non-refundable) may be deducted as per policy

6. Cancellation Timeframe

Customers are encouraged to request cancellation as soon as possible after placing an order. Cancellation approval depends on the order status at the time of request.

7. Non-Cancellable Items

Certain products or orders may not be eligible for cancellation, including:

  1. Customized or made-to-order products
  2. Digital goods or software once processed
  3. Items marked as “non-cancellable” by vendors
  4. Orders already shipped or delivered to logistics partners

8. Communication and Notification

All cancellation requests and updates will be communicated through:

  1. Email notifications
  2. User account dashboard
  3. SMS or phone communication (if applicable)

9. Fraud Prevention

Repeated cancellation abuse, fraudulent orders, or misuse of the platform may result in account suspension or restrictions on future orders.

10. Policy Updates

eAlpha reserves the right to update or modify this Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on the platform, and continued use of our services indicates acceptance of updated terms.
